약사여래불의 세상을 관정하시겠다면 아래처럼 약사여래불께서 중앙에 계시는 만다라가 필요한 것인지도 모르겠습니다.
반야심경은 참으로 쉽고 짧으면서도 핵심을 잘 표현한 탓에 수행의 정도에 따라 그 이해와 감동은 배가가 되는 것 같습니다.
The Heart of Prajna Paramita Sutra
마하반야바라밀다심경
When Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara was practicing the profound Prajna Paramita,
관자재보살이 깊은 반야바라밀다를 행할때,
he illuminated the Five Skandhas and saw that they are all empty, and he crossed beyond all suffering and difficulty.
오온이 모두 공한 것을 비추어 보고, 온갖 괴로움과 재앙을 건지느니라.
Shariputra, form does not differ from emptiness; emptiness does not differ from form. Form itself is emptiness; emptiness itself is form. So too are feeling, cognition, formation, and consciousness.
사리불이여...
물질이 공과 다르지 않고 공이 물질과 다르지 않으며, 물질이 곧 공이요, 공이 곧 물질이니,
느낌과 생각과 지어감과 의식도 그러하니라.
Shariputra, all Dharmas are empty of characteristics. They are not produced, not destroyed, not defiled, not pure; and they neither increase nor diminish.
사리불이여...
이 모든 법의 공한 모양은 나지도 않고 없어지지도 않으며,
더럽지도 않고 깨끗하지도 않으며 늘지도 않고 줄지도 않느니라.
Therefore, in emptiness there is no form, feeling, cognition, formation, or consciousness; no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, or mind; no sights, sounds, smells, tastes, objects of touch, or Dharmas;
그러므로 공 가운데는 물질도 없고 느낌과 생각과 지어감과 의식도 없으며,
눈과 귀와 코와 혀와 몸과 뜻도 없으며, 빛과 소리와 냄새와 맛과 닿임과 법도 없으며,
no field of the eyes up to and including no field of mind consciousness;
눈의 경계도 없고 의식의 경계까지도 없으며,
and no ignorance or ending of ignorance, up to and including no old age and death or ending of old age and death.
무명도 없고 또한 무명이 다함까지도 없으며,
늙고 죽음도 없고 또한 늙고 죽음이 다함까지도 없으며, 늙고 죽음도 없고 또한 늙고 죽음이 다함까지도 없으며,
There is no suffering, no accumulating, no extinction, and no Way, and no understanding and no attaining.
괴로움과 괴로움의 원인과 괴로움이 없어짐과
괴로움을 없애는 길도 없으며 지혜도 없고 얻음도 없느니라.
Because nothing is attained, the Bodhisattva through reliance on Prajna Paramita is unimpeded in his mind.
얻을것이 없는 까닭에 보살은 반야바라밀다를 의지하므로 마음이 걸림이 없고,
Because there is no impediment, he is not afraid, and he leaves distorted dream-thinking far behind. Ultimately Nirvana!
걸림이 없으므로 두려움이 없어서 뒤바뀐 헛된 생각을 떠나 완전한 열반에 들어가며,
All Buddhas of the three periods of time attain Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi through reliance on Prajna Paramita.
과거 현재 미래의 모든 부처님도 이 반야바라밀다를 의지하므로 아뇩다라삼먁삼보리를 얻느니라.
Therefore know that Prajna Paramita is a Great Spiritual Mantra, a Great Bright Mantra, a Supreme Mantra, an Unequalled Mantra. That is why the Mantra of Prajna Paramita was spoken.
그러므로, 반야바라밀다는 가장신비한 주문이며, 가장 밝은 주문이며, 가장 높은 주문이며,
무엇과도 견줄 수 없는 주문이어서 온갖 괴로움을 없애고 진실하여
허망하지 않음을 알라.

Gaté Gaté Paragaté Parasamgaté
Bodhi Svaha!
그러므로, 반야바라밀다는 가장신비한 주문이며, 가장 밝은 주문이며, 가장 높은 주문이며,
무엇과도 견줄 수 없는 주문이어서 온갖 괴로움을 없애고 진실하여
허망하지 않음을 알라.
